History
Anthropological findings indicate that the Gampr became what it is today around 3000 years ago. It was bred out of necessity and continues to do the same jobs in order for human survival in the native areas. It has kept a surprising amount of original characteristics.
Look of the Armenian Gampr
The Armenian Gampr stands on average between 62-68 inches tall and weigh around 45-60 kgs depending on sex. The head is generally large with a fairly large muzzle and relatively small ears. There are two different coat types, the long-haired and short-haired.
